Oh man, I know all my friends are gonna have one comment or another about this, but once again, I’m looking for musicians. Ryan and I have been writing music, and still have the music bug, so why not — we’re putting together another band. Its not the Action Item, a d we might still play some of the old songs, but the goal will be to write new music. So yeah, its fun and exciting for us, and hopefully we’ll find some good people to make some great music with.

Yey! The hard rockin bartender from montucky did it! He beat out child prodigy David Archuletta for the win even though the judges gave it all to Archuletta the night before. Archey just wasn’t real enough — totally a product of his father’s constant meddling in his life. Anyway, its late, I’m tired, but congratulations David Cook!

iPhone Arm-band Cases are Too Big!

I bought one tonite for the gym, I put it on, and my arm looked puny. Granted, I don’t have huge arms, but strapping an iPhone to your arm just doesn’t work. They should discontinue them. It’s like wearing luggage as a backpack. It doesn’t work. Hear me Griffin??

Being a devoted MSN Messenger user, I clicked to upgrade to the latest version tonite, and I got prompted to install some additional programs. I didn’t feel like adding a bunch of junk to my computer, but one did catch my eye — Writer. An app to post to your blog from your desktop. That sounded good, so I installed it… and within about 2 minutes, I’m writing my first blog from it.

Its got a pretty good looking UI, and even though I’m still using XP, it has that Vista chrome. It also seems to have additional tools for more extended HTML editing, like adding tables to my post. Lets see…

Pretty cool! What else does this do… hmm, its got an HTML Preview of my post, within the blog context, before I submit it. Nice! It also seems to have a better, less intrusive HTML code editor. And it looks like its got a bunch of Web2.0 stuff, like tagging.

Ok, so we’ll see how this whole thing turns out in the long run, like if I’ll be using it regularly to post to my blog, or if I’ll revert back to the web UI, but so far, its pretty promising.
