workout mania!
January 29th, 2008 · 1 Comment
So I’ve been bitchin’ at the gym for a while how I haven’t been making any gains, because I haven’t been eating enough, and that I’ve plateaued and all that. So last week I decided to shake it up my routine and start totally fresh. I’m a on a new weight gaining plan that involves a change in my diet, and a change in my routines. The gyst of it is this: EAT MORE AND EXCERCISE MORE. Its brilliant. So I’m going to be attempting to eat about 3600 calories per day (my biggest challenge) and also trying to excercise the same muscle group twice a week. Pictures, Food, Routines and more to follow soon. Stay tuned!

Apple is stupid and here’s why:
December 22nd, 2007 · 4 Comments
I went in to an AT&T store to get on the iPhone bandwagon only to be told I can’t have one. Why? Because Apple made the iPhone software such that if your phone account is a business account, meaning that its tied to a Tax ID instead of a social security number, you can’t have an iPhone. The rep told me that countless business people come in, looking to buy a large number of iPhones and are turned down because Apple doesn’t allow it. Why would Apple not allow businesses to have iPhones? This not only limits Apple’s sales, but also AT&T’s as well. Its very puzzling to me and it only leads me to one conclusion: Apple is stupid. ![]()

I saw “Enchanted”
December 8th, 2007 · No Comments
Say what you will about me, but I give this movie two thumbs up. It really made fun of itself and the whole Disney fairy tale princess thing all the while developing good characters and moving the story along nicely. Not too much else to say about it other than there were some good laughs and you really kind of felt for the characters and the dilemmas in their love story. Anyway, catch it if you need a good date movie!

I’m in the market for a PBX Phone System
December 7th, 2007 · 2 Comments
Which is something I really know very little about and with so many options on today’s market, my head’s spinning. The old traditional PBX systems are pretty complex and still very expensive, even for old refurbished ones. However, my new guy TJ came across the new “Microsoft ResponsePoint.” Its a platform that a few hardware companies built on, such as D-Link, Quanta and Aastra, and its an IP-based phone system that seems really cool.

Without turning this into too big of a plug for Microsoft, I’m just saying that for $3200, you get a brand new phone system, that expands to 50 phones, with 10 phones built in, and it does really cool stuff like voice recognition, extentions, voicemail that shows up in your Outlook inbox, etc. Seems killer… if anyone knows of a PBX system that might be better for a small biz of 10 employees, let me know, otherwise I’m probably staying on the MS bandwagon for one more stop.
